Nebraska 2nd District Representative Don Bacon been ranked in the top 20% of Republicans for legislative effectiveness in the 116th Congress. The Center for Effective Lawmaking bases the scores on 15 metrics regarding the bills that each member of Congress sponsors, how substantial their policy proposals are, and how far they move through the lawmaking process.
“I have found that by working across the aisle and seeking areas of consensus, I can make a positive difference on key issues facing our country and in the everyday lives of hard-working Americans,” said Rep. Bacon.
Bacon was also recently named as one of six recipients of Bipartisan Legislative Action Awards in the House of Representatives.
