Super Bowl Is Set…Game Info And More

By News Jan 25, 2021 | 10:45 AM

Yesterday the AFC and NFC Championship Games were played in the National Football League to see who will go to the Superbowl!  In the AFC the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Buffalo Bills 38-24. In the NFC the Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the Green Bay Packers 31-26.  So that means CHIEFS -vs- BUCS in Superbowl 55 on Sunday, February 7th at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay….basically a home game for Tom Brady and the Bucs!  Although with the pandemic, there won’t be a huge crowd due to restrictions, social distancing and more.

It’s Tom Brady’s 10th Superbowl and will pit the old guy against one of the youngest quarterbacks in the league, Patrick Mahomes, who hopes his Chiefs can repeat as NFL Champions!

A couple other things that were announced last week.  The NFL announced on Friday that they are giving away 7,500 Superbowl tickets to vaccinated health care workers to attend.  Each of the NFL’s 32 teams will get to select some health care workers from their hometowns to attend the game.  NFL Commissioner, Roger Goodell said, “These dedicated health care workers continue to put their own lives at risk to serve others, and we owe them our ongoing gratitude. We hope in a small way that this initiative will inspire our country and recognize these true American heroes.”

And….MILEY CYRUS will be the entertainment for these special guests. The league announced that Miley will perform exclusively for the 7,500 health care workers at the first ever #TIK TOK TAILGATE!  Miley posted, ‘I’ll be there for TIK TOK TAILGATE! I can’t waitto put on a show for the NFL’s honored guests before the game….Health car workers from around the country!”   You can watch it at 1:30pm our time on the TIK TOK app and on CBS.
