106 New COVID-19 Cases Tuesday

There are 106 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Lancaster County Tuesday bringing the community total to 5.302. The number of deaths remains at 21.  Recoveries are up from 2,042 to 2,079

The Lancaster County positivity rate is up from 7.7% to 7.8%.  The state rate is down slightly from 9.6% to 9.5%.  The national rate remains at 8.5%

There are 25 people hospitalized.  Symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, cough, shortness of breath, repeated shaking with chills, repeated muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell. If you have symptoms, please get tested. Testing is now open to all Lancaster County residents by appointment only.

Testing is available at Bryan Health, CHI Health St. Elizabeth and through Test Nebraska.
