An arrest is made in an evening robbery and stabbing.
Lincoln Police Officer Erin Spilker reports that around 7 p.m Monday, officers were sent to an area hospital where a 25-year-old victim reported being stabbed in the abdomen and robbed of his backpack while walking in the area of 10th and B Streets.
The victim and witnesses identified 27-year-old Seth Hansen as a suspect.
Spilker said officers attempted to contact Hansen at his residence in the 3700 block of Sheridan Blvd Tuesday at around 10:30 p.m .
“When officers went to contact him, he took off running into a residence,” said Spilker. “Officers found him hiding behind a bed frame in the basement.”
Hansen was arrested for 2nd-degree assault and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony.
