North Lincoln Kwik Shop Temporarily Closes After Employee Tests Positive For COVID-19

A Northwest Lincoln gas station has been temporarily closed after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.

According to a statement, the Kwik Shop at 2330 North 1st Street, was closed around 5:30 Thursday afternoon after the positive case was reported.

It will re-open next week as industrial cleaning crews sanitize the store.

Lincoln, NE – Announcement re: Kwik Shop Team Member at 2330 North 1st Street

One of Kwik Shop Team Members at our 2330 North 1st Street, Lincoln NE location has informed us that they have tested positive for Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). We are taking all appropriate steps following guidance from local health officials. We closed the store at 5:30 PM (CST) on Thursday May 21st to be cleaned and sanitized by an industrial cleaning crew. The store will re-open in the next week. We are grateful to all our customers for your patience and understanding during this time.

All Team Members that work at these stores have been contacted and advised to follow CDC-recommended guidelines. We are making every effort to provide the affected Team Member and our broader team with the necessary resources and support.
