For the first time ever, I worked from home today. Everyone’s doing it – right? So I decided to give it a try. Thanks to Zoom and a simple set up in my basement, I’ve got a little studio (B107.3 South). The funny thing is, I got up at almost the same time, took a shower, did my hair, put on mascara, threw on a shirt and pair of jeans, ate breakfast and read show prep well before 6am. No pajamas on Zoom for me. It’s better for me to stay on the same schedule. My husband, Rick, even got up and listened in for a bit. What was missing? The drive to work (on a cold morning), seeing Joe in person, better coffee than what I made at home and the free Egg McMuffins that were brought in. For the first morning, Joe and I thought it went pretty well. What’s next? Perhaps, we will Facebook live the entire morning show. Stay tuned.
