Lincoln Confirms 3 New Cases of COVID-19, Bringing Total To 42

Mayor Leirion Gaylor Baird and the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department (LLCHD) announced today that three new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Lincoln today, bringing the City’s total to 42.  That includes the death of a man in his 50s Wednesday.

110 individuals are being monitored in Lancaster County.

The County reports 1,246 negative tests with 18 tests pending at the Nebraska Public Health Lab. There are now 537 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nebraska and 14 deaths.

The Mayor and the county health department will hold a briefing at 3:30 p.m. TODAY, Thursday, April 9
