Task Force Makes Drug Bust After Pursuing Report Of Stolen Vehicle

A report of a stolen car leads Lincoln investigators to a drug bust.

The Lincoln Police Department reports members of the Narcotics Task Force were sent to the Red Roof Inn in the 3900 block of N 26th Street around 7 PM Wednesday after receiving reports of a stolen vehicle there.

When investigators arrived, they recognized 40-year-old William Schippert as the driver of a vehicle with fake plates.

Investigators observed Schippert talking with two people in another vehicle.

When investigators tried to make contact, Schippert, a woman passenger in his car, and the individuals in the other car retreated into the hotel.

Shippert was located inside and arrested along with 40-year-old Kristian Hespen.

Schippert was found with over ten grams of meth on his person along with baggies and a scale.

Hespen was found to have around 12 grams of meth on his person, a gram of an unknown powder, and a baggie containing 14 hydrocodone pills, 13 oxycodone pills, 10 Alprazolam pills, and 4 Morphine pills.

A scale and $400 cash were also found at the scene

Other parties involved were not arrested at this time.
