Nikki’s radio adventure began when she was 10 and her parents thought it’d be fun to buy a karaoke machine. Little did they know the microphone and music monster that machine would unleash.
Wayne State College is where she studied Communications and Broadcasting. The original plan was to graduate and move to Chicago where she’d work for a small indie radio station. After visiting Chicago and realizing it gets much colder there (she hates snow), she decided to stay put in The Good Life state. Post-graduation, Nikki worked for a variety station in Norfolk, NE, co-hosting the morning show and hosting mid-days, where she had the opportunity to entertain northeast Nebraska and interview some of her favorite bands.
