I saw an article about how hanging with your friends a couple times a week can be beneficial to your emotional and physical health because it increases the amount of oxytocin (the hormone that makes you feel good about things) your body produces. So I researched other ways to get your body to produce oxytocin. Turns out it can be as unbelievably easy as cuddling with a pet to crazy as jumping out of a plane.
