After starting up the fire and getting those good grill marks on your favorite type of wiener, you may be tempted to top it off with mustard, relish, and ketchup.
So what’s the big deal? Did you know that some people take great offense to putting ketchup on their hot dog? Back in 2014, the National Hot Dog and Sausage Council (a branch of the American Meat Institute) declared that after the age of 18, people should stop putting ketchup on their hot dogs.
